Little Lessons from Mammoth Lakes
Sorry for being gone so long. Geez, I feel so bad for letting this blog go so long without being updated.
Anyway, today I have been inspired to write after reading an article about the Mammoth Lakes (CA) Track Club. This is an olympic level club that trains at altitude. They are coached by Terrence Mahon (a 2:13 marathoner himself). Some of the best distance runners in the country live and run here.
I had the great opportunity to meet Terrence last winter in Charlotte, NC. He gave a lot of great ideas for training and I plan to share in time.
However, for now, I want to link to the last page of the article that I read. The title of the last section is: "Little Lessons From Mammoth."
I think that the term "Little Lessons" is a major understatement. The lessons pointed out are the core of any workout plan!
Read and enjoy!
